Purpose
- Promote fellowship among TKE alumni living in the
Charlotte area.
- Provide opportunities for alumni to continue to
engage in lives of leadership, scholarship, and service in the community.
- Provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and experiences
in the area of chapter management that members can take to their home
chapters, wherever they may be.
- Support the formation and maintenance of TKE undergraduate
chapters in this area that adhere to the highest standards of any social
fraternity, especially through the recruitment and training of alumni
volunteers and the support of retreats, conferences, and workshops.
- Support the creation of endowments, with tax benefits
for donors, in support of leadership and scholarship activities at TKE
chapters in the area.
- Support the formation of other alumni associations
in the Carolinas.
- Provide a platform on which alumni can organize
other presentations and events of interest to them
- Raise the quality of TKE's presentation of itself
in the Carolinas
Programming
- Regular monthly socials, meetings, and fora
- Outings such as golf tournaments, attendance at
local athletic events, etc.
- Alumni volunteer training sessions
- Officer retreats for undergraduate chapters and
province volunteers
- Assistance at province conferences and workshops
- Sponsorship of undergrad ceremonies including KCL,
FFL, prytanis dinners, and recognition of excellence in leadership,
scholarship, and service
